Is Miss Juliet luxurious Eco-Bralette maternity friendly?

Miss Juliet’s eco-bralettes are wireless, super-soft and stretchy with adjustable bra band and straps making them perfect to wear during the different stages of pregnancy. And once bub is here, the stretchy cups can be pulled up and down for feeds during the day and night. Pura Bamboos natural properties also means that you will stay dry and its luxuriously soft feel means you can wear it comfortably all day and night - from taking bub for a walk or when you have a two minute-snooze on the lounge. PS: You also don’t have to wash it as often either!

How do I care for my Bralette?

With its natural moisture-wicking, thermo-regulating, anti-bacterial and deodorising properties, remember there is no need to wash your bralette after every wear.

In general, gentle machine wash, using mild detergent will ensure many, many wears.

Remember Miss Juliet bralettes are made from premium fabrics from specialist Australian fabric suppliers and manufactured in small quantities by local artisans, so they are made to wash and wear well for a long time!

Is Bamboo sustainable?

Miss Juliet’s bralettes are made exclusively from Eclipse Textiles’ Pura Bamboo range. This range is made from bamboo pulp which is a sustainable yet durable natural fabric that is beautifully soft and luxurious to touch.

Bamboo is regarded as sustainable because it is one of the fastest growing plants in the world and in the right conditions, can grow almost a meter in 24 hours! As a naturally prolific grower, Bamboo doesn’t need fertilisers to encourage growth and because Bamboo is naturally pest resistant, pesticides are not needed to maintain its quality.

Bamboo also absorbs more carbon dioxide and releases more oxygen from the air than any other timber.

So yes, bamboo is considered sustainable, biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

What is Slow Fashion?

Slow Fashion is a conscious approach to fashion which considers sustainable and ethical processes and resources at all stages of the garment’s life. Slow Fashion is more about being timeless than being on trend and is about buying better quality items less often.

At Miss Juliet The Label, Slow Fashion principles are embraced as a business model. At Miss Juliet, we believe in making better-quality garments that will last for longer because like you, we value the fair and ethical treatment of people, animals and the planet. Proudly Australian owned and designed, our manufacturing is done locally to produce small quantities of exceptional quality bralettes made from sustainable Pura Bamboo fabric. All orders are packaged in recyclable tissue and mailed in 100% compostable mailers (bought from another like-minded Australian business) and couried using Australia's first 100% carbon-neutral shipping service.

Can Miss Juliet be more sustainable and environmentally friendly?

Yes, because at Miss Juliet, we believe that Slow Fashion principles and sustainable business practices are constantly evolving as new information on how to do better is found. As a small business, we are committed to improving how we do our business while ensuring our garments are affordable and of the highest quality…It’s a fine balancing act but at Miss Juliet The Label, we are committed to sustainable fabrics and ethical productions as the only way to do business.

To measure your BUST/CUP SIZE
, wrap a measuring tape lightly around the fullest part of your chest (ie at nipple level). When measuring, do not wear a padded bra and make sure the tape is parallel to the ground. Round the measurement to the nearest whole number.

To measure your UNDERBUST, wrap a measuring tape snuggly under your bust, at your ribcage where a bra band would sit. The tape should be parallel to the ground and flat against your skin. Round the measurement to the nearest whole number.

Alternatively, check sizing details on the label of a fitted top.
